Client Acknowledgement Contract for Non-Refundable Planning Fee

PLEASE READ THIS NOTICE. IT CONSTITUTES PART OF YOUR CONTRACT FOR TRAVEL RELATED SERVICES.

A non-refundable deposit must be submitted in all circumstances.

Included Fee Services: By submitting your planning fee/deposit, you will receive the following services:

Scenic Escapes Travel LLC will research and propose potential vacation itineraries for you. Depending on your desires, these itineraries may vary in destination, resort/cruise, tours, transfers or all of the above.
The traveler(s) will have a chance to review and ask any questions about the custom proposals.
Once your proposed itinerary is to your liking, Scenic Escapes Travel LLC will begin the booking process and book all of the components of the proposed itinerary as we are able to. This will require additional booking forms to be signed by the client/traveler.
Scenic Escapes Travel LLC will continue to be available to answer questions before your travel as you wish.
Scenic Escapes Travel LLC will provide a written custom itinerary to include all of the details, booking numbers, confirmations, etc. of the trip. We will also provide any phone numbers or other contact information you may need during travel.
Scenic Escapes Travel LLC will be able to assist you with the components of your trip that we have booked for you that is within our control. This includes the rare instances that a resort is oversold or the room category is not available, a scheduled transfer does not arrive, or a booked tour is no longer available upon arrival. Other unforeseen circumstances that are out of our control, such as flight cancellations or delays, lost luggage, trip cancellation or an emergency termination of your trip will also be assisted by Scenic Escapes Travel LLC, if travel protection was purchased as we are able.

Yes! I understand and agree that the services of Scenic Escapes Travel LLC will include the above mentioned services. Payment will be collected before research and booking is performed.

Yes! I understand that the fee/deposit submitted is non-refundable after submission, even if I choose not to book with Scenic Escapes Travel LLC.

Yes! I understand that I need to frequently check email regularly (including the SPAM box) for any information sent from Scenic Escapes Travel LLC during the travel planning process. If I am expecting correspondence and don't receive it, I will contact Scenic Escapes Travel LLC to check on the situation and prevent any lost correspondence that could be due to technology.

Yes! I understand that names and dates of birth (for all travelers) MUST MATCH EXACTLY with the form of identification I/we will be using for travel. I, the undersigned, will be responsible for making sure that all travelers' names and dates of birth are correct. I also acknowledge that if the name(s) do not match, I will be responsible for any name change fees or cancellation fees needed to rebook the ticket(s). I also acknowledge that the whole trip may need to be rebooked (if even only one name is incorrect) which may change the price significantly, or may not be able to be rebooked at all.

Yes! I understand that rates and pricing are not guaranteed until payment is made to hold the booking. I understand that pricing may increase or decrease significantly at any time and that Scenic Escapes Travel LLC has no way to predict the rates or rate changes with any component.

Yes! I acknowledge that some carriers may change their taxes or add fuel surcharges that were not in place during the booking process. I understand that Scenic Escapes Travel LLC has no control over this and that I, the client, will be responsible for these charges, even when unexpected.

Yes! I understand that if I book any component of my trip without Scenic Escapes Travel LLC, Scenic Escapes Travel LLC is not able to service that reservation, make any changes, or help me with that component in any way.

Yes! I understand that travel protection is recommended. If required, I agree to sign a waiver provided by Scenic Escapes Travel LLC should I refuse travel protection. I understand that I will be responsible for any cancellation fees or non-refundable payments as a result.

Yes! I understand that Scenic Escapes Travel LLC will provide me with travel protection options, but that they cannot legally advise me of the best policy for my personal needs. I will call the insurance company directly if I have any specific questions regarding the policy. If I do not book the protection with Scenic Escapes Travel LLC, I understand that Scenic Escapes Travel LLC will not be able to assist me with the policy or access it in any way on my behalf.
